now that the US have Obama, what are they going to use? a  mexicans' daugther?

Another rom com "thing" I hate. The lead couple meet and they hate each other. And I really mean hate, they are horrible to each other and then, all of the sudden they realize that all that hate was... love. yeah, right... Good thing they do not show how two months after the movie ended they are filing restriction orders against each other or one of them is actually dead.

And then you wonder why so many women are in abusive relationships... EVIL rom coms!!!

I said I hate rom coms, but inside all this hatred there are different specific points.
I hate that the female lead is either a happy idiot or a sad/freak control smart career woman. So there: you can not be a career woman and be happy, NOT until a man enters your life and make you remember what being a woman really is... Sorry, I have to go and throw up now.

yes, mainstream includes getting married, buying a house, having children and a dog. and if it's in that order, even better (or worst depending from where are you looking).

basically, i liked renton better when he was on drugs.

everyone remembers "i'll make an offer he won't refuse", maybe the people that actually never saw the godfather trilogy, or just watch it once thinks that quote it's actually the most important or the greatest. well...

...for me, a few of the best quotes are: 

• "i know it was you, Fredo. you broke my heart, you broke my heart!"
• "oh, Michael. Michael, you are blind. it wasn't a miscarriage. it was an abortion. an abortion, Michael. just like our marriage is an abortion."
• "just when i thought i was out... they pull me back in!" 
• "never hate your enemies, it affects your judgment." 
• "leave the gun, take the cannoli."  

but the three films are filled with great lines. i can't get enough of these movies!
